"Manifest V3" signifies an impending transition introduced by Google aimed at enhancing extension security, privacy, and performance within the Google Chrome web browser. This forthcoming update entails a shift in how extensions interact with the browser. Notably, Manifest V3 serves as an upgrade to the existing software framework, Manifest V2, which is set to be phased out by the end of May 2024.

The implementation of Manifest V3 introduces limitations on the existing Senso Chromebook extensions access to user data.

In response to this transition, Senso Developers are proactively redesigning its extension to align with Manifest V3 requirements. However, until this redesign is completed, we are requesting Google Workspace administrators to enable the "Manifest V2 extension availability" setting in the Google Admin Console. This action extends support for Manifest V2, thereby mitigating any potential service disruptions for your Senso product.
